Todd Waldron

Todd Waldron serves as Director, Biologics Manufacturing Operations at Amgen Singapore, and is responsible for the production of a reliable supply of high quality drug substance. His role encompasses managing daily production and lifecycle requirements associated with the products and processes at Amgen’s modular manufacturing facility primarily using single use equipment. He leads a diverse team of manufacturing professionals focused on safety and compliance.

Since joining Amgen in 2011, Todd has held leadership roles in Manufacturing and Quality organizations in clinical and commercial facilities based in Puerto Rico, Ireland and the United States. Todd was a front-line manager in small molecule manufacturing, project manager for drug product technology transfers and Quality Assurance manager responsible for oversight of cell bank, drug substance & drug product manufacturing, packaging, inspection and quality control testing.

Prior to Amgen, Todd held positions of increasing responsibility at Merck including supporting qualification of a new vaccine manufacturing facility and managing worldwide supply of test reagents and cell banks. As a fellow at Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics in Italy, Todd developed a global strategy for implementation of an automated material management platform.

Todd holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, an MS in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA and MS in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
